Memorial Information
Linda's Memorial Service is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20 at 11 am, with a type of meet and chat or whatever it's called starting at 10am, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Roscommon, MI. There will be a luncheon immediately following at the church.
We are asking that instead of flowers, if you could, please make a donation to Hospice of Helping Hands, located in West Branch, MI (866-446-7742). Linda adored her team and the care she received from them.

Linda will be greatly missed. I am sorry that I never got to actually meet Linda face to face, but I am forever grateful to have had such a great friend for so many years.

I just learned of this sad news. I'm so very sorry, Linda was a special person. I really enjoyed her wonderful newsletter. She had such a special way about her and unique talent for writing. She made it so easy to visualize the stories she shared with us, especially when writing about her beloved pets. Linda and I shared many emails back and forth over the past along with a few phone chats. She will be missed by many. Linda was a true friend.

Hello Jennie and Linda's family.
I live in Portugal and exchanged some words with Linda through her blog.
On December 9, I sent her the last written message, but I returned here many times to see if I could find out how she was doing.
My husband and I used to pray for Linda together, because she was bright as sunshine.
My husband passed away from his terminal lung cancer on January 10. Our daughter is 12 years old.
I had almost given up coming back to this site, since I assumed Linda herself was probably worse and unable to write.
My prayers are still with her and with her loved ones. I send my fondest regards to you. Thank you for letting us know.

I am sitting here not know what to say...Not knowing if you will even get this message. I came to this site because ((for some reason)) I was looking at the lung cancer stats...
I am so sorry you have lost your mother, your wife and your friend. I know my comment is late but I have learned from my father's death from Lung Cancer it is never to late and you still miss them terribly. He died September 30, 2009 and I stil can't believe it...now I remeber why I came here ...It was the Title of this blgo..."Never Say Die...Living with Lung Cancer". That was...((I hate saying was))...my father's motto.
Everyday he would tell us how good he was and how he would feel much better tomorrow. He lived 4.5 years with Stage 3-B lung cancer...I know you miss Linda and I miss my father but They are better now and praying for a cure from this thing.
